About Leon Scrimmager MD
Dr. Leon Scrimmager, born and raised in Newark, NJ, is a well respected and highly skilled physician with over 20 years of experience in Internal Medicine. He went on to Rutgers Medical School, now known as Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and trained at Roosevelt Hospital specializing in Internal Medicine. He gained experience in several areas of medicine such as an HIV specialist, Emergency Room Physician, Hospital Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support. Dr. Scrimmager has been recognized as one of New York and New Jersey’s Top Doctors and has a reputation for being one of the city’s most reputable physicians. With all his experiences and dedication, he intends to provide exceptional evidence based medicine and compassionate care to his patients. His is driven by the bonds he builds with his patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment he holds in keeping them healthy as well.
